COMMITMENT MASS
FOR CHILDREN PREPARING FOR SACRAMENTS IN 2010
Families with children preparing for Reconciliation, Communion or Confirmation in 2010, at Xavier School or the Parish Chi Rho Programme, will make their commitment to the Sacramental Programme during Mass this weekend, either on Saturday, 6th March at 6.30pm or Sunday, 7th March at 9.30am. Please remember to pray for all the children as they prepare to receive the sacraments later in the year.
70TH ANNIVERSARY OF ST KEVIN’S
The 70th Anniversary of the opening of St Kevin’s Catholic Church, Serpentine, will be commemorated with a morning tea in the church grounds after 9.00am Mass this Sunday, 7th March.

To all the volunteers who work at the reception desk during the week: please don’t forget to come along to the Morning Tea on Friday, 12th March at 10.30am. Please bring along your diary as we hope to organize the cover for holidays etc.
SPECIAL MINISTERS MINISTERING TO THE SICK
There will be a very short meeting on Monday, 15th March at 4.00pm to cover a few details regarding taking Holy Communion to the Sick in the Nursing Homes and to the elderly in their homes. Please bring your diary to this meeting.

The parable in today's Gospel clearly warns that we, like the fig tree, will be judged by our fruit. While God mercifully provides us with time and opportunity, let us give witness to our faith with deeds of kindness and generosity!
