BIBLE STUDY LEADERSHIP TRAINING
For the last four weeks the Bible Study Leadership Group have been meeting to prepare to facilitate a Little Rock Bible Study Course in our Parish.
Next Thursday will be the final formal session of preparation, and the group are eager to plan the first Course. As a group, the leaders have been praying, both for themselves and for each other, and discussing the scriptures together. It has been both challenging and rewarding .
The next step will involve looking at times and dates, facilitator availability etc. The group are very excited about offering the Course and need the prayers of the community to ensure its benefits. Please keep the work of the facilitators in your prayers, along with the hoped deepened understanding of the scriptures.
Hopefully, following next Thursday’s Leadership training session, we will have clearer idea of planned schedule. A very big Thank You to the team.
SHARING THE JOY OF STEWARDSHIP
Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Jesus is describing God's immeasurable generosity when He says in today's Gospel,
"Whoever asks, receives; whoever seeks, finds; whoever knocks, is admitted." But
it should also be the description of us as Christian stewards -
