It will be taken up at all Masses on the four weekends of May: 30th April/1st May, 7th/8th May, 14th/15th May and 21st/22nd May.   PROJECT COMPASSION Boxes and envelopes continue to roll in for Project  Compassion. Donations  this week totalled  $1,197.00 with the total to date reaching $9,919.95. There is no doubt that, with some boxes and envelopes still to be returned, the Parish total will once again top $10,000. This is a wonderful display of generosity and commitment;  it is even more so when we consider the generous response that members of the Parish have made to recent  appeals on behalf of victims of natural disasters both in Australia and overseas. Thank you. SHARING THE JOY OF STEWARDSHIP Third Sunday of Easter The disciples on the road to Emmaus walked and talked with Jesus all day long, but it was not until they offered Him hospitality and He blessed and broke the bread that they recognized Him. Simple acts of loving kindness still reveal the presence of God in our midst. THANK YOU To Fr Kaz, The Parish Prayer Chain, dear friends and fellow parishioners. Thank you all so very much for the Mass, all the prayers, cards and expressions of sympathy and support I have received on the recent sudden death of my much loved grandson, Sam.
