On Friday, our Year 6 students gave their leadership speeches to the Year 3 - 6 children for the 2012 Student Councillor roles.

Fr Kaz will conduct a commissioning ceremony for our Year 6 Student Councillors next Friday, 24 February, at our assembly.

He will also bless and present their badges before the new councillors make their pledge of leadership to serve the Xavier School community.

Do you have some spare time and an interest in helping children succeed? Have you thought about volunteering for one hour per week to help make a difference during Literacy Dedicated Time in the classroom? A short training session will be held soon so if you are interested in making a REAL difference, or just want to find out more, please let us know by contacting the school office on 9391 7000. Would you like to make new friends, learn some new skills and have fun with your children? We invite you to join in with our new Mums & Bubs’ group and, of course, dads and grandparents are most welcome to join us. Come along on March 1st at 9.00am for a coffee and information session in Room 2 of the new classroom block where 3 Year-old Kindergarten sessions are held.
